High Fliers 2007

It was a great moment of pride for all employees in the AHS (Application Hosting Services) competency last Sunday. The path to success started from Josh 2006 from where we achieved more than the objectives in service delivery. We got the best competency award in the TakeOff event 2007. This event took off in style in Eagleton resort Mysore Road.



We all started from EGL campus and really excited with our brand logos in black shirts. Three cheers to my company and Hats off to our manager who were behind our success. Even though we did not contribute much in this success but the moment of pride makes us to work hard to be a part of this award winners check list next year.

What is Hack Day?

It's an opportunity to join your friends and colleagues to create new solutions and fix old problems. A chance to finally put that idea to good use. The right time to get a move on that project that's been on the back burner. It's your motivation, packaged as a day of freeform competition, to see what sort of creative ideas and fixes you can apply to your day to day life to improve or impress.

What?

It's a 1 day competition. You can enter it by submitting a "hack". A "hack" is something you did during that day to fix, improve, or simply be creative. Like a program you wrote, a mashup you created, a UI you designed, a ThinkPlace idea you submitted, a presentation you created, a screenshare demonstration you captured. Anything you like. Just do it and submit it.

Friday, October 26, 2007. For one day... give or take. We know people are from all over the world so everyone's "day" isn't in the same time frame. So it's a loose day. And we wont complain if you go over. After all, we know what it's like once you get hooked on doing something and don't want to stop. But keep it reasonable. We're much more interested that you participate than not, so if you're REALLY busy and have to put off your "one day" to the weekend, go ahead, we wont tell. Or even if you want to do it earlier in the week cause you're going on vacation, not a problem.
